Attention homeowners:
Are You Interested in Remodeling Your Current Home or Building a Brand New Home but Don't Know Where to Start?
Dear homeowner,
- What is the smartest way to choose a home remodeler?
- How do you choose one home building company over all the others?
- Should you buy a brand new home vs. a used home?
If you'd like answers to the above questions, you've come to the right place. Welcome to the Today's Home Designed for Life Housing Consortium...
We are a group of home builders, remodelers and trade partners
breaking the mold of
"business as usual"
in the housing industry.

For years the housing industry has offered consumers pretty much the same thing - Rooms and Products.
Rooms are assembled to create house designs. Products are added to fill in the blanks. A builder puts it all together and you live happily ever after, right? Maybe not...
Rooms + Products = House (but not a home)
Just like blue + green doesn't = black, Rooms + Products don't make a home.
"But why are homes designed and built this way?"
The housing industry is dominated by "engineer" thinking people. The engineers or builders (95% of the time men) design houses that are logical. Logical houses may appeal to a builder's bottom line but often fall short of enhancing a homeowner's life to its potential.
That's why most new homes and remodeling projects are promoted and sold using rooms and features (3 bedrooms, 2 baths, wood floors, Maytag appliances, fireplace, etc.).
If you own a home think back to the day you purchased it...
You probably researched for months and considered a lot of different options finally deciding on the home that was the best fit at the time. After living in it for a few months you began to realize your home had some serious flaws...
Have you ever found yourself mouthing the question, "What on earth were they thinking with a design like this??"
The 3 Housing Flaws
More often than not, when we're talking to people like you, we hear three consistent issues:
- Your Life Stage has changed. Very simply, you added roommates, got married, had kids, got divorced or the kids grew up and moved out. Once this happened you realized your current home would not adapt to your new Life Stage and you need to remodel or change homes.
- Your location is no longer right. Perhaps it's a new job, the desire for a better school district or a more walk-able neighborhood. Whatever the reason, your current location doesn't work anymore.
- Design Flaws. You might love your location and neighborhood but have had it with your dysfunctional design. Your home was designed for a different generation and you just don't live like the Cleavers. Now you're trying to figure out if it makes sense to remodel your existing space or find a similar location with a better designed home.
Contractors have been "missing the boat" for years when designing and building/remodeling homes. In today's economy a "sticks and bricks" or "product" approach just won't cut it.
Why?
Because you can't afford to make a mistake!
It's hard enough to...
... sell your home
... get financing
... find a builder or remodeler you can trust
... find a design that will work not only today but 5, 10 or 20 years from now
If today's economy and housing market has forced consumers to rethink the way they view their homes- how do you find a home builder or remodeler that is rethinking the way they build? A builder that not only understands your situation but will help you navigate the design, finance and construction process. And let's not forget- a builder that has the foresight to create a home or space that adapts as your life changes.
What we did-
We looked at how we were designing homes and changed our philosophy of design from products and features to Life Stages- specifically... how you want to live in your home today AND in the future.
Next, we sought out housing options that help YOU Maximize your Home Life.
Finally, we've adjusted our thinking from short term home ownership based on financial investment to long term home ownership based on Life Investment and Adaptability.
We realize that you, our customer, is truly our "product"- not the homes we are building or the materials we use to build them.
If this sounds different to you it is!
We thank you for visiting our website and appreciate the consideration for building or remodeling your home!
